On October 20, 2021, BMW Japan announced the limited edition "BMW 118d Individual Edition", which is based on the compact car "BMW 118d Play Edition Joy +" and combines special interior and exterior.
It will be available at authorized dealers and the BMW online store, and will go on sale at the online store at noon on October 21st of the same year. Limited sales are 180 units. This 118d Individual Edition is equipped with the "M Sport Exterior", which will be introduced for the first time in Japan, and the special paint by the customization program BMW Individual has been adopted for the first time as a compact segment of BMW. As for the interior, it is equipped with the popular Hi-Fi audio system in addition to the "Illuminated Trim Berlin" that has a light source on the back side of the trim and brightly colors the inside of the car. In addition, 90 of the limited 180 units are made of mocha-colored perforated Dakota leather, which cannot normally be selected.
