Honda has made a full model change of the new "Civic" and released the Japanese model as the 11th generation on September 3, 2021. A hybrid "e: HEV" model will be added one year after its release and will be released around September 2022. At the same time, the sports model "Civic TYPE R" will be added.
Only the "Civic Hatchback" and "Civic Type R" will be introduced in Japan. Honda made a full model change of the new "Civic" and announced a mass-produced model as the 11th generation 2022 model in the United States on April 28, 2021 (local time). The US model will go on sale on June 16, 2021. The Japanese model will be released on June 24, 2021. It was announced that it will be released on August 5, 2021 on September 3, 2021.
Based on Honda's original MM concept, it has a more sophisticated and luxurious design than the conventional model, giving it a low and wide stance. Starting with the low overall height and low hip points of the 10th generation model, we applied the spirit of a new "thin and light" design that includes a low hood and front fenders, and a low horizontal belt line.
