On March 12, 2020, TOYOTA announced the limited edition "GT BLACK LIMITED" of the FR sports car "86 (Hachiroku)". Orders will be accepted from 13:30 on March 12, 2020 to April 16, 2020, and will be released on May 21, 2020. The sales volume is 86 units, 43 units each of MT and AT vehicles.
The "GT BLACK LIMITED" is a limited edition model based on the catalog model "GT". The exterior color is a combination of crystal black silica and bronze colours, and is tailored to the model reminiscent of the final special edition "GT APEX BLACK LIMITED" of the AE86 "Sprinter Trueno" released in 1986. Interior color is black and suede-like skin is used for seats and meter visors. Items that enhance driving performance, such as Brembo brakes and Sachs shock absorbers, are also installed.
