GIGA is a heavy-duty truck manufactured by Isuzu Motors. Sold overseas as the second generation C series and E series
[6UZ1 Engine]
Introduced in 2005. It will be installed in Isuzu's heavy-duty truck "Giga". Vehicles equipped with this engine have 77 attached to the model (example: LKG-CYJ77A).
Based on the 6SD1, it has 4 valves and is designed to cope with high supercharging, and has the common points of in-line 6 cylinders with an inner diameter of 120 mm x stroke of 145 mm, displacement of 9,839 cc, and OHC. With intercooler turbo. The fuel injection system has adopted the common rail type from the beginning.
In 2010, minor changes were made such as the adoption of an electronically controlled stepless variable capacity turbo (previously an 8-step switching type), an increase in common rail injection pressure, a change in the shape of the combustion chamber, and a lower compression ratio (17.5 → 16.2). ..
