The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association Federation announced the sales volume ranking by passenger car model name in June and the first half of 2017 (January to June).
●JUNE 2017
According to the sales volume ranking in June, TOYOTA "Prius" sold 17946 units, becoming the top for two consecutive months.
The second place was TOYOTA's new SUV "C-HR" as in the previous month.
In the third place, TOYOTA "Vitz" 6th in the previous month ranked in 11743 units.
In addition, the Subaru "Impreza" with strong sales is ranked ninth.
The top ten car unit sales rankings for passenger cars in June are as follows.
1：PRIUS（TOYOTA）17,946units
2：C-HR（TOYOTA）14,318units
3：VITZ（TOYOTA）11,743units
4：NOTE（NISSAN）11,601units
5：AQUA（TOYOTA）11,453units
6：SIENTA（TOYOTA）9,646units

●First half of 2017
According to the sales volume ranking in the first half of 2017, TOYOTA "Prius" decreased compared with the same period of the previous year, but it was the top for 2 consecutive years at 91246 units.
NISSAN "Note", which "e-POWER" was doing well, increased to 84,211 units. It ranked up to 2nd place from 5th place last year at a stroke.
TOYOTA's new SUV "C-HR" continued to be in good condition from the release ranked third in 79303 units.
