Subaru announced that it will release the plug-in hybrid (PHV) model (SUBARU StarDrive Technology) of the new model SUBARU XV's US model "Subaru Crosstrek" on November 19, 2018 (local time), released within 2018.
It is announced that it will be released worldwide at the Los Angeles Motor Show 2018 to be held from 26th November to 9th December 2018. In the United States, sales will start around November 2018. In Japan it will be launched in early 2019.
The first PHV model of SUBARU will be equipped with Toyota's plug-in hybrid system in cooperation with Toyota as well as Toyota 86 and SUBARU BRZ.
