Toyota will make a full model change of the "Corolla Axio" and release it in Japan as the new "Corolla" on September 17, 2019. Sales will begin in the United States and Europe in the spring of 2019, and will be released in more than 150 countries and regions around the world, including China, which will be released after mid-2019. A dedicated sedan and wagon optimized for the Japanese road environment will be released on September 17, 2019.
The name was reorganized as a result of the unification of the global name “Corolla” from Auris, and “Corolla” and “Corolla Touring” were changed to Japanese specifications, replacing “Corolla Fielder” and “Corolla Axio”. The "Corolla Axio" will be a "Corolla Sports" -based sedan that will be larger than the current size.
