On October 2, 2020, Toyota Motor set a special specification car "Off-Road Package" for the "Adventure" grade of "RAV4" and started selling it. The Toyota RAV4 Adventure is equipped with "Dynamic Torque Vectoring AWD" that controls torque transmission to the rear wheels independently according to the driving conditions, and is a grade that strengthens the off-road image with a dedicated front mask. This "off-road package" is equipped with special equipment to further enhance its ability to run on rough roads.
The exterior is equipped with a bridge-type roof rail that can be equipped with a dedicated crossbar as a dealer option. A special suspension and 18-inch all-terrain tires ensure a minimum ground clearance of 210mm, which is 10mm higher than the base model. Aluminum wheels with matte black paint are also exclusive to the "off-road package".
Red stitching is used for the interior, such as the exclusive synthetic leather seat, instrument panel, and door trim shoulder. The front cup holder and center open tray are coordinated exclusively in red + black.
A lineup of three body colors is available, including the special color "Super White II" plus "Gray Metallic" and "Attitude Black Mica". The price is 3.46 million yen, which is 150,000 yen higher than the base model.
