TOYOTA TOYOACE
The TOYOTA TOYOACE is a light-duty truck sold by Toyota Motor Corporation until 2020.
In 1954, it appeared as the Toyopet Light Truck SKB type, and in 1956 it was nicknamed Toyoace. Since then, it has been sold as one of Toyota's flagship light-duty trucks for over 60 years.
The origin is a compound word from "TOYOTA" and "Ace (first person, best person, trump card)". It was decided from 200,000 applications (open call for participants).
From the 5th generation model that appeared in 1985, it will be a twin car with Dyna (2t stacking from 1959). The Toyoace has long been composed only of the 1t class, but with this, the 2-3t class has also been added to the variation. Other sister cars include the Hiace truck (until 2001), Daihatsu Delta (until 2003), and Hino Ranger 2/3 (later renamed Dutro).
The TOYOTA TOYOACE, which has the same model and engine model as the Dyna and has 13B, 14B, and 15B engines like the DYNA , is very popular all over the world.
The only difference between DYNA and TOYOACE is the car name, so when looking for Toyoace, be sure to look for DYNA as well.
